Key takeaway of the day:
Delaying gratification makes me a better person
Checking in on you:
It’s the day after Christmas and I feel calm today but a bit low, what about you? Do you feel like people respect you? If not, do you know the difference between self-esteem and self-worth?
About me
Hi 👋 my name is Laura Mai and I’m a marketing consultant looking to make ethical marketing easy. I’m currently doing Alex Hormozi’s 100 day content challenge.
Every day (except Sunday per my religion) I will be doing this challenge and sharing the good, the embarrassing and the enlightening.
Day 35
I took today a bit slower, I normally get up around 5:30 but my body wanted to sleep until 7 today so I didn’t get to start working on content until 12pm today. Why am I telling you this you probably don’t care about what time I get up, let’s get onto what I actually made.
Before we get into today’s post, would you please sign up for my email list? Every subscription makes a huge difference in my ability to keep attracting better guest blogs.
Time spent Monday: 100 minutes
What I made:
I made a YouTube vlog yesterday along with an Instagram/ TikTok and a blog post. I also did a poem for my poetry account. It was Christmas and I did the bare minimum.

Struggles and what went well
Struggles:
You know when you’re tired and you just want to be with your family and not work? Well that wasn’t me yesterday, I found myself annoyed it was Christmas some of the day because I just wanted to stay home and work.
In the end I felt better for seeing my family, but I am so tired.
Today when I woke up it was hard to get going, especially because I’m still not seeing the success even though I feel like a better person for all of the work I put in. This challenge has made me realise why most people quit their own businesses. Delaying gratification is tough, and it’s even to ugh her when there is no guarantee of success like a degree or a salary, but I have become a better person for sticking it through without this guarantee.
What went well:
💡I posted a vlog
✅ I trust myself fully to do the things I need to do every day
✨ My discipline has become my favourite muscle
