100 day content challenge: day two. Travelling to Milan

Two days ago I started a challenge set by Alex Hormozi in his training on acquisition.com to spend 100 minutes on content every day for 100 days.

Every day (except Sunday per my religion) I will be doing this challenge and sharing what I learned that you can apply.

Yesterday was tricky. I was travelling to Milan with friends, but I wanted to make this work so I got up around 4am so I could fit the challenge in with my other work.

There were things I sacrificed yesterday for this challenge, like skipping lunch with friends in honour of making Tik Toks, but the choice brought me peace and I don’t regret it.

Here’s what I made on day two:

Time spent on content: 120 minutes

What I made

  • 7 Tik toks (1 hour)

  • 3 posts for my poetry page (15 minutes)

  • Posted a blog (15 minutes)

  • Photos for LinkedIn (15 minutes)

  • 3 posts for LinkedIn (15 minutes)

Of these, one of my LinkedIn posts performed incredibly, and I got a lot of added connections. I’ve put it below so you can see it.

Of my seven Tik Toks, three were ad variations to try to get people to submit articles for my blog, all were equally unsuccessful compared to an ad variation I posted a few days ago. Ill keep trying today.

I ended up going to bed at 11pm after finishing work around 10.

I made mistakes yesterday like forgetting I had online book club (which I’m the Zoom link person for), but I’m proud of how I managed yesterday overall.

Key takeaways of the day:

  • I should be posting more Linkedin posts with me in them.

  • This challenge actually is going to be hard.

My laptop died around 10pm (which is why I stopped my actual work) and I’ve forgotten my charger for it. It will be interesting to see how today goes working from my phone.

With love,

Laura Mai
